These conditions apply to all sales concluded with Victoria Lodge - Friendly Hotel (with the exception of group bookings). The customer hereby acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions of sale and agrees to abide by them.
These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time, without prior notice or information, and the conditions applicable will be those in force at the time the reservation is made.
ARTICLE 1 - PRICES
The prices indicated are in €uro and include VAT applicable on the day of the reservation. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new legal taxes by the competent authorities, will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated on the date of invoicing.
Rates are per room for the number of persons indicated and according to the selected period and do not include services (unless otherwise stated)
The tourist tax of €1.76 for 2024 per night and per person (over 18) is not included in the price and must be paid directly on site. It applies all year round. From January 1, 2025, the tourist tax will be 1.87€/night/person.
Some services may be subject to an additional charge and may be subject to change without notice, for which the hotel is not responsible.
No stay booked before the introduction of a promotional offer (non-refundable rate) will be reimbursed, even partially.
ARTICLE 2 - RESERVATIONS AND MEANS OF PAYMENT
Reservations can be made at https://victoriafriendlyhotel.com/, by telephone, e-mail or post.
The reservation will only be effective if it is guaranteed by the client, either by providing a credit card number with a validity date or by paying a deposit, and after receiving a detailed reservation confirmation.
Payment for all services must be made directly to the hotel (exceptions made for prepaid reservations at the time of booking). The balance, if any, as well as all additional services purchased by the client must be paid by the client before leaving the hotel.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation if the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation is incomplete.
Bookings from all sources are payable in €uro only.
The hotel accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and has a secure reservation system (SSL) that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted to the reservation to prevent any disclosure to a third party.
Upon registration of the reservation, a credit card charge authorization will be made. This will be done for information purposes, and will not be a charge to the account except in the following cases:
- Non-cancellable - non-refundable" promotional offer.
- If the validity date of the credit card is earlier than the arrival date.
The client is solely responsible for his or her choice of services and their suitability for his or her needs, so that Victoria Lodge by Friendly Hotel Collection cannot be held liable in this respect.
ARTICLE 3 - FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure is any unforeseeable and insurmountable event beyond the control of the parties, which prevents the customer or the hotel from fulfilling all or part of their obligations under the contract. This includes, but is not limited to, staff strikes, government or public riots, natural disasters, health problems, hotel fires, etc.
ARTICLE 4 - CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Any modification or cancellation of a reservation must be requested by e-mail reservation@victoriafriendyhotel.comou by telephone on 04.58.24.12.12
The request will not become effective until the hotel has confirmed its acceptance in writing.
In case of modification or cancellation of the stay, the following conditions apply (except in cases of force majeure):
- For any request for modification or cancellation made 15 days before arrival, no deduction will be made.
- From 15 days prior to arrival to the date of arrival, or in case of no-show on the date of arrival, a deduction of 100% of the amount of the stay will be applied.
- Any stay started is fully payable.
For bookings made via the website of our partners, the cancellation must be made via this website (Expedia, Booking.com, etc). The cancellation conditions that apply are then specific to the partner and may therefore be different from those of the hotel.
In the event of an extension of the stay, the guest must notify the hotel reception by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest, in order to check availability and conditions.
ARTICLE 5 - HOTEL AND SERVICES
The children's breakfast rate applies to children up to and including the age of 12.
Pets are allowed on the premises for an additional fee of €15 per pet per day.
Rooms are available from 16:00 and must be vacated by 12:00 on the day of departure. A surcharge may be applied if the maximum check-out time is not met. The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day
The client accepts and undertakes to use the room in good manners. Any behaviour contrary to good morals and public order will lead the hotelier to ask the client to leave the establishment without any compensation or refund if payment has already been made.
ARTICLE 6 - THE SPA
The Spa is only open to guests aged 16 and over.
The client who accesses this area agrees to respect the staff and other clients. Therefore, any behaviour contrary to public morality and order will lead the hotelier to ask the client to leave the establishment without any compensation or refund if payment has already been made.
ARTICLE 7 - ACCOMMODATION
In the event that the hotel is not available, or in the event of force majeure, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate the customer in whole or in part in a hotel of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature. In this case, the transfer will be at the expense of the hotelier, who will not be liable for any additional compensation.
ARTICLE 8 - COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be sent to the Hotel by registered letter with return receipt, within 15 days following the departure of the stay that is the subject of the said complaint. After this period, no complaint can be taken into account.
ARTICLE 9 - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND PRIVACY
In application of the French law 78-17, known as "informatique et libertés", customers are informed that their reservation is subject to computerised personal data processing. Users have the right to access and rectify the data entered, which may be exercised by contacting the head office: SASFRIENDLY HOTEL VAL D'ISERE - Lotissement Courbaton - Les Arcs 1600 - 73700 BOURGSAINT MAURICE. It is specified that this information is not communicated to third parties.
The hotel offers wifi internet access. The client-user undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available to him/her shall not be used in any way for the purposes of reproduction, representation, making available or communication to the public of works or objects protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, audiovisual musical works, software and video games, without the authorisation of the holders of the rights provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, where such authorisation is required.
The establishment has a video surveillance system in the common areas of the building.
ARTICLE 10 - LIABILITY
The hotel declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to the belongings of clients during their stay.
The client will be held responsible for any damage, deterioration or vandalism that may occur as a result of the occupation of the premises and/or the actions of the participants and/or the staff for whom he/she is responsible, whether or not they belong to the hotel. As a result, the hotel may ask the client to leave the establishment without any compensation or reimbursement of the outstanding stay, and to reimburse the damage caused by these acts, as well as all the prejudices suffered by the hotel.
ARTICLE 11 - APPLICABLE LAW
The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. This applies to both substantive and formal rules. Disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
